Basildon: Two charged over aggravated burglary

Two people have been charged in connection with an aggravated burglary in Basildon.
It happened at an address in Travers Way on 25 August and it was reported a man in his 30s had been assaulted.
Detectives from Basildon CID investigated and carried out a variety of enquiries, securing charges against two women.
Geraldine Roberts, 43, of Travers Way, Basildon, has been charged with aggravated burglary, burglary, assault by beating, and three counts of fraud by false representation.
Andrea Dawson, 52, of Travers Way, Basildon, has been charged with aggravated burglary and assault by beating.
They are both next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on 25 September.
