Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after an aggravated burglary in Clacton.
We were called shortly after 7.40am on Friday 25 August, reporting four suspects had forced their way into an address in Burrs Road, Clacton.
Once inside, two occupants of the address, a male and a female, were assaulted.
Thankfully their injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing. Both are receiving hospital treatment and are being supported by specialist officers.
The suspects made off in a white Ford Transit van, which was subsequently discovered abandoned in a field by School Road, Tendring, later that day.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who may have CCTV, ring doorbell footage or dashcam footage, to come forward.
