A woman who was seriously injured following a collision near Cold Norton last week has, sadly, now died.
We were called to reports of a collision involving a black Ford Fiesta and a white Vauxhall Vivaro van in Lower Burnham Road shortly before 11am on Friday (18 August).
The driver of the Fiesta, a woman in her 60s, sustained multiple injuries and was taken to hospital in a critical condition but sadly, she has since died.
A passenger in the Fiesta, a man in his 60s was treated in hospital and is now recovering at home, supported by his family.
The driver in the Vauxhall, a man in his 30s, were also injured but not seriously.
Officers from our specialist Serious Collision Investigation Unit are now investigating what happened and need anyone who saw what happened, or the lead up to it, or has any CCTV, dash cam or other footage to contact us.
