A man has been charged with burglary and theft from a motor vehicle, as part of an ongoing investigation in Canvey.
An investigation was launched on 13 October following reports of a theft and a burglary which occurred overnight at an address on Linden Way in Canvey Island.
On Thursday, 30 November, officers arrested a man in connection with this investigation.
Tariq Aguis, 21 of Linden Way, Canvey has since been charged with theft from a motor vehicle and burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal.
He will appear a Southend Magistrates Court on Friday, 1 December.
