We are investigating an assault in Westcliff which has left a man with life-changing injuries.
We believe an 18 year-old man had been assaulted near to the Westcliff Hotel in Westcliff Parade at around 5.45pm yesterday (Wednesday 22 February).
He has been taken to hospital for treatment to stab wounds to his back.
A 16 year-old girl sustained less serious injuries.
It has been reported they were attacked by two men and a woman and the girl had several rings stolen.
Our enquiries are ongoing.
