Westcliff: Men charged in burglaries investigation

Two men have been charged in connection with an investigation into a string of burglaries in Westcliff.

There were seven break-ins between 5 and 13 February, including both residential and non-residential properties.

Micky Scott, 31 of Southview Drive, Westcliff, and 28 year-old Josh Love, of Chichester Close, Rayleigh were arrested on Wednesday (15 February).

Scott has now been charged with eight counts of burglary and one count of theft from a shop.

Love has been charged with two count of burglary and three counts of theft from a shop.

They appeared in court yesterday where both have been remanded into custody.
