EOD experts have now safely dealt with the WWII shell found in Bradwell.
They have also confirmed there were no explosives inside.

This morning explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) experts will safely deal with an unexploded World War Two shell found in Bradwell.
It was discovered shortly after 11am on Tuesday (23 January) in the East End Road area.
A cordon has been put in place which currently stands at 2km.
EOD experts are planning to safely deal with the ordnance this morning at around 10am and we’re asking people to avoid the area.
The controlled detonation is expected to be loud but please do not be concerned.
