Officers continue to appeal for witnesses to a serious collision in which a man died in Stapleford Tawney.
We were called to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a Range Rover, which took place on the A113 London Road junction with Mitchells Farm, at around 11.30am on Saturday 24 June.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s from London, was taken to hospital. Sadly, he died on Thursday 6 July 2023.
Both vehicles had been travelling northeast on the London Road towards the general direction of Ongar at the time of the collision.
The road was closed while officers carried out investigative enquiries and was reopened shortly after 4pm.
We continue to appeal for anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward.
We would also ask anyone driving in the vicinity at the time to check their dashcam footage for anything that might help our investigation.
