Officers from our Operational Support Group (OSG) have made another eight arrests as they continue their work to keep you safe.
Supporting teams from across the force, they carried out warrants and proactive arrest attempts throughout Essex yesterday arresting eight people in connection with investigations into drugs supply, drug driving, burglaries, and sexual offences.
They also supported a search for a high risk missing person, assisted following a collision, and with a mental health-related incident.
Chief Inspector Richard Baxter, who leads the OSG, said:
“This was another really busy day for my team as they protect the public and support investigations into a variety of crimes.
“This is really important work and helps get justice for victims and they’re out doing this work every day”.
