Leigh-on-Sea: Investigation into aggravated burglary

Officers are investigating an aggravated burglary at an address in Leigh-on-Sea.

It was reported three people forced their way into a property in Broomfield Avenue at around 6.45pm yesterday (Friday 19 May).

They threatened the occupants inside but they managed to force them outside where an argument continued. The suspects then left the area.

We believe this was a targeted incident and it doesn’t pose a wider risk to the public.
