Leigh-on-Sea: Man assaulted

We are investigating an assault in Leigh-on-Sea.

It was reported a man in his 20s was assaulted after a confronting three men who were being inappropriate to women outside The Vine in Leigh Road at around 1.10am today (Saturday 20 May).

He sustained stab wounds and has been taken to hospital for treatment.

Our enquiries are ongoing.
