Special Sergeant Simon Jesse tells BBC Essex listeners about volunteering for Essex Police

Meet Special Sergeant Simon Jesse, one of our first Community Special Constables, and listen to him speaking on BBC Essex about why he volunteers his spare time to help keep people safe and catch criminals in his town.

Simon was interviewed by Steve Scruton at Witham Town Council’s Coronation Music Festival on 6 May 2023.

And he spoke about how he and his fellow Community Special Constables wanted to make a difference in their communities.
