Colchester: Man charged with multiple drugs offences

A man has been charged with multiple drugs offences as part of an ongoing investigation by one of our specialist teams.
Our Op Raptor team investigate, disrupt, and dismantle street and drug gangs.
They had been investigating the sale of Class A and B drugs in and around Colchester.
As part of this investigation officers attended an address in Hythe Mills where a man was arrested. Officers seized a four-figure sum of cash, mobile phones, and drugs paraphernalia.
Twenty year-old Weheliye Guleed, of Carlton Drive, Putney has now been charged with nine offences:
• Being concerned in the supply of cocaine; • Being concerned in the supply of ecstasy; • Being concerned in the supply of a Class C drug - nitrous oxide; • Being concerned in the supply of cannabis; • Being concerned in the supply of cannabis resin; • Being concerned in the supply of Ketamine; • Being concerned in the supply of a Class C drug – Xanax; • Being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug – Codeine; • Possession with intent to supply a Class B drug – Ketamine.
He is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 30 November).
