Officers are appealing for any dashcam footage or information that will help them locate two suspects after arresting another man on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle.
We were called to reports of a theft in Station Approach, Rayleigh at about 11.20pm on Tuesday 14 November.
At the scene it was reported three suspects forced entry to a van and stole thousands of pounds of DJ equipment before leaving the scene in a grey Citroen Picasso.
Officers searching for the suspects’ car located it in Rayleigh High Street where two suspects left the vehicle. One man was arrested at the scene of suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle, another man fled and the driver of the car also left the scene.
The suspect driving the suspect vehicle was described as a white man, believed to be in their mid 30s, about 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with short black hair.
We are now asking the public for any dashcam footage that will help with our investigation. Please contact us quoting 377 of Tuesday 14 November.
