Southend: Appeal after robbery

We are investigating a robbery in Southend where a woman was assaulted.

The victim, a woman in her 50s, was sitting outside Greggs on the High Street at around 11.10pm yesterday (11 November) when she was approached by another woman.

She was assaulted and knocked unconscious before having her purse stolen.

The suspect is described as a white woman, 5ft 7ins tall, in her late 30s, with brown hair in a bun, and wearing a purple jacket with black squares on the shoulder, and black trousers.
