A man has been arrested in connection with an attempted robbery in Colchester.
We received a call shortly after 2pm on 14 October reporting a man was trying to steal another man’s bag.
Officers attended and arrested a 32 year-old man from Colchester on suspicion of attempted robbery.
He is currently released under investigation.
However, despite attempts at the scene officers were unable to locate the victim and we need to speak to them to take their account so we are appealing for this person to come forward.
