Colchester: Appeal following assault

We are appealing for information, dashcam and doorbell footage after an assault in Colchester.

We were called at about 7.15am on Saturday 19 August to reports of an incident at an address in Cowdray Avenue.

At the scene we found a man had been seriously assaulted and sustained three stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries and has now been released from hospital.

We have carried out extensive enquiries at the address and surrounding areas to identify a suspect and establish the facts of the incident.

We are now asking for any members of the public that have information about this incident to come forward.
