Two teenagers have been charged in connection with a robbery in Grays last month.
It was reported an 18 year-old man had clothing worth a three-figure some stolen at knifepoint in Wallace Road at around 9pm on 19 August.
Two 16 year-old boys – one from Barking and the other from Chelmsford – were arrested on Wednesday (30 August).
They have since been charged – one with robbery and possession of a knife or bladed article and the other with robbery and possession of a Class B drug.
They both appeared at Southend Magistrates’ court the following day and are next due at the same court on Tuesday 5 September.
