We are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage that will help with our investigation into a stolen car in Loughton.
Officers detected a vehicle in Ranger’s Road at about 6pm on Sunday 17 September that was recently reported as stolen. When officers signalled the car to stop on Epping New Road, the occupants left the car and ran into the nearby woods.
We recovered the vehicle and arrested one man on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle, assaulting an emergency worker and possession of a Class B drug.
One officer was taken to hospital with injuries to their hand.
Now, we would like to hear from anyone who has dashcam footage that may help us with our enquiries.
