South Essex: Three charged with drugs offences

Three men have been charged with drugs offences following a series of warrants in the south of the county yesterday.
We executed warrants in Laindon, Langdon Hills, and Canvey Island yesterday morning (Saturday 2 September).
Four men were arrested and officers seized a suspected kilo of cocaine and £24,000 in cash.
Three of the men have now been charged.
Richard Gill, 49, of Jefferson Avenue, Laindon, 33 year-old Jay Pattinson, of Third Walk, Canvey Island, and Karl McKay, 32, of Tower Avenue, Laindon, have all been charged with conspiracy to supply a Class A drug.
They’re due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Monday 4 September).
The other man arrested, a 28 year-old, has been released under investigation.
