Our specialist team which recovers stolen vehicles have recovered three cars in the west of the county.
The vehicles, which had been stolen from the Thames Valley and Gloucestershire areas, were found at a facility at a storage yard.
Officers from our Stolen Vehicle Intelligence Unit recovered a Bentley Continental, a Mercedes X350, and an Audi R8, all of which we believe would have been exported out of the county if they had not been found.
The owner of one of the cars has been located and we’re working to contact the owners of the others.
Detective Chief Inspector Alan Blakesley said:
“We know that if you have your car stolen it has a massive impact on your whole life.
“That’s why finding stolen cars, returning them, and bringing those responsible for taking them is a priority for us.
“Whether it’s top of the range and high value, or you’ve had it for a decade – it matters to you, so it matters to us.”
