A 19-year-old woman has sadly died following a collision in Billericay on Thursday, 25 April.
Officers were called to the junction of Pipps Hill Road and Oak Road in Billericay at around 12:40am yesterday following a single vehicle collision.
Four people were taken to hospital. Sadly, a 19-year-old woman from Romford has since died. Her family are aware and will continue to receive support.
A 19 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to stop at the scene of a collision.
Detectives from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to investigate the circumstances around the collision and appealing to anyone who may have any CCTV or dashcam to contact us.
