It’s ten days until the Clacton Airshow and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for sunshine.
We’re also putting the final touches to our plans for policing the annual two-day event.
The Tendring district is a great place to enjoy whatever the weather and our officers work hard to help people and keep you safe, day and night, come rain or shine.
And they’ll be watching out for you because we want everyone to enjoy yourselves safely and responsibly.
So, whether you’re a resident or visiting the Essex Sunshine Coast for the day, you can expect to see us out on patrol across the Tendring district, from Harwich to Brightlingsea, from Clacton to Manningtree.
But, if you do break the law or behave anti-socially, we’ll deal with you swiftly and robustly.
If you’re thinking of joining us at the airshow on 22 & 23 August, visit www.clactonairshow.com for information about how to get the best out of your day.
Help us to help you: there are many different ways you can contact us to report crime and anti-social behaviour, including online.
In an emergency, please call 999 but do consider whether you need the police, coastguard, fire or ambulance service.
We're offering more ways for our communities to stay up to date with our work across Essex.
Our e-newsletter, Dispatch, delivers news, information, and advice from Essex Police.
Dispatch is a ‘one stop shop’ for local police news – direct from the source.
