We are appealing for any witnesses or dashcam footage following a fatal collision in Epping.
We were called to reports of a collision at the junction of Epping Road and Coopersale Common involving a white Toyota Prius and a Blue Humber vehicle at about 9.35am on Tuesday 27 August.
The two men in the Humber, the 81-year-old driver and the 79-year-old passenger, were both taken to Royal London hospital with serious injuries.
Sadly, despite the best efforts of doctors, the passenger has now died.
Detective Sergeant Alex Black, of our Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said:
“Our officers are already carrying out several enquiries to establish the facts of Tuesday morning.
“Any dashcam footage from the site of the collision that morning could be vital for our work, so please contact us if you have any information.
“If you witnessed these vehicles before this collision, or know anything that would support our investigation, get in touch."
Please quote incident number 270 of Tuesday 27 August.
