Two men have been arrested following an assault on Rayleigh High Road.
It was reported a man in his 20s had been attacked with a glass and then punched and kicked near to Paul Pry at around 11pm yesterday (Friday 30 August).
The victim sustained a fractured eye socked and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
An 18 year-old man from Dagenham and a 22 year-old man from Wickford have been arrested on suspicion of GBH without intent and are both currently in custody.
