Our officers are looking forward to seeing you at Clacton Airshow this Thursday and Friday, 22 & 23 August.
The Tendring district is a great place to enjoy, whatever the weather, and we’re working hard to keep you safe during your visit.
You can expect to see our officers out on patrol – on foot, on the roads and at sea – watching out for everyone, as they do all year round. If you see us, come and say hello!
We want everyone to enjoy yourselves safely and responsibly but, if you do break the law or behave anti-socially, we’ll deal with you swiftly and robustly.
If you’re attending the airshow, visit www.clactonairshow.com for FAQs which tell you how to get the best out of your day, from travel and parking right through to details about the council’s free children’s wristband scheme.
If you need help, see anything you feel is suspicious or something just doesn’t feel right, do tell a police officer, police community support officer, member of council staff or security officer.
In an emergency, please call 999 but consider whether you need the police, coastguard, fire or ambulance service.
Finally, please remember, drones can’t fly within a Restricted Airspace (Temporary) zone or RAT, without the permission of the Flying Display Director. A RAT has been set up for the airshow.
You can also find the information on the Drone Assist app.
#HelpUsHelpYou: there are many different ways you can contact us to report crime and anti-social behaviour, including via the Report section on our website.
