Five men have been charged with drug production offences, following a warrant in Harlow on Monday, 5 February.
A warrant was executed at a unit on Harlow Mill Business Centre where five men were arrested and a high number of suspected cannabis plants were seized.
The following have since been charged with production of a controlled drug of class B and abstracting electricity without authority.
• Alfred Thepi, 24 of no fixed abode
• Sparktak Verri, 33 of no fixed abode
• Klisman Zozja, 24 of Bosworth Street, Leicester
• Paulo Zozja, 25 of no fixed abode
• Emilijan Lejthize, 24 of no fixed abode
They have been remanded into custody and will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 7 February.
Detective Inspector Yoni Adler said “These charges have been authorised by the Crown Prosecution Service following hours of hard work by our detectives.
“This forms part of the work that teams across our force do, to proactively tackle drug production and prevent drug related criminality in Essex.”
