The pedestrian, who can now be named as 78-year-old Michael Howard was taken to hospital where he sadly died on 20 December.
His family have today paid tribute to him saying the following:
“Michael was a cherished Partner, Dad, Grandad and friend. He had such a zest for life, and lived life to the full.
He gained enjoyment from helping others, be it fitting a new bathroom, carrying out electronic repairs or installing an aerial on a roof. His skills knew no bounds.
He will be sorely missed by his family, partner and friends. There is a void in our lives without him.”
