A man has died following a serious collision in Silver End, near Braintree this morning.
Officers were called to Boars Tye Road shortly after 6:30am this morning (29 June) following reports of a single vehicle collision.
Sadly, a 26-year-old man died at the scene. His family are aware.
An investigation within Essex Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is ongoing and detectives are appealing for the public’s help.
We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed a grey Peugeot 2008 in the area at around 6am this morning and may have any CCTV or dashcam to contact us.
