A Chelmsford man has been charged with three offences following work by our officers investigating child sexual abuse.
Officers from the Management of Sex Offenders and Violent Offenders (MOSOVO) team acted on information from the National Crime Agency and, following a swift investigation, arrested a man.
Lee Bergstrom, 35, of Nipsells Chase, Mayland, is charged with attempting to cause or incite a girl aged 13 to 15 to engage in sexual activity, attempting to engage in sexual communications with a child and attempted breach of a sexual harm prevention order.
He appeared at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Friday 1 November and was remanded into custody.
He will next appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on Friday 29 November.
