A man is charged with disclosing private or sexual images and malicious communications.
Our officers received reports a woman had been filmed without her consent in November 2023.
Two suspects then reportedly shared this footage.
We’ve now arrested and charged two people in connection with this matter.
John Thomson of Stour Close in Harwich, has been charged with voyeurism, disclosing a private/sexual image with intent to cause distress, malicious communications, harassment, and controlling and coercive behaviour.
Ashleigh Thomson, of St Loves Way in St Neots is charged with disclosing a private/sexual image with intent to cause distress.
Both are due in Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court for these matters on 17 January 2025. John Thomson was remanded in custody.
