Three men have been charged with Class A drugs offences as part of an ongoing investigation into drugs supply in Essex.
Officers stopped a black Mercedes in Montnessing at about 11.10pm on Wednesday 9 October, after they detected the vehicle travelling along the A12 to London.
Two suspects in the car were stopped and searched, with one being found in possession of suspected Class A drugs. Both were arrested for drugs offences and taken into custody. Three mobile phones were also sized from inside the car.
The following day, officers carried out a warrant in the stoke Newington area of London and arrested a third man on suspicion of being concerned in the supply Class A drugs.
Now, three men are charged in connection with this investigation:
Detective Chief Inspector Neal Miller said:
“This was excellent work from all the officers involved, including our Roads Policing Unit, our Raptor team , officers committed to our Operation Grip, and the support of the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit.
“We will now work to build the strongest possible case with the Crown Prosecution Service.”
