Shoebury: 19 charges secured in drug line investigation

An investigation into a drug line supplying crack cocaine and heroin in Shoebury has resulted in 19 charges against three people.

Officers with our specialist drug enforcement team Operation Raptor executed two coordinated warrants at addresses in the area on Thursday 13 February.

Three arrests were made and a number of items were seized.

Officers recovered a number of wraps of suspected crack cocaine and heroin, as well as weapons including a knuckleduster and a zombie knife.

Charges have since been secured as follows:

• Sheree Joyce, 33, of Eagle Way, Southend, charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.
• Riley Hall, 19, of Bulwark Road, Southend, charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.
• Luke Musgrove, 38, of Eagle Way, Southend, charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and possession of an offensive weapon in a private place.

All three appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Friday 14 February, where they were released on conditional bail until a further hearing at Basildon Crown Court on 10 March.
