Detectives have secured charges following an incident in Southend where a man sustained injuries to his hand and leg.
It happened in Southchurch Road shortly after 7pm on Sunday 22 June where we had been called to reports of a disturbance inside a property.
A man sustained injuries but they were not life-changing or life-threatening while a teenage boy also sustained a leg injury.
Detectives from Southend CID have been investigating since the incident and made an arrest on Wednesday (2 July).
Nathan Bowes, 37, of Beech House Road, Croydon, has been charged with two counts of robbery and one count of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
He has been due to appear at Southend Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 4 July).
