Four people have been charged following a disturbance at The Water Gardens shopping centre in Harlow yesterday (Sunday 17 May).
We were called to the Asda at the Water Gardens shopping centre at around 2.50pm.
It had been reported a group of people were being aggressive and verbally abusive to security at the location.
As we dealt with the incident two officers and one PCSO reported they had been assaulted.
Three woman and a man were arrested.
Rosie Smith-Galer, 24, of Torrington Gardens, Loughton has been charged with two counts of assaulting an officer.
Keedie Drew, 21, of Roydon Marina, Roydon has been charged with one count of assaulting an officer.
They are both due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on 24 June.
Leah Smith-Galer, 24, of Torrington Gardens, Loughton has been charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
Barnaby Stewart, 41, of Woodcroft Harlow, has been charged with using threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and assaulting an emergency worker.
They are both due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on 1 July.

Officers have arrested a man and three women.
