Thirty-five new recruits proudly ‘passed out’ this afternoon (Friday, October 6) during a special ceremony at our HQ in Chelmsford. They were welcomed into the force by Deputy Chief Constable BJ Harrington, Deputy Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex Jane Gardner and Magistrate Wendy Black, South Bench Chair.

The next generation of Essex Police officers have raised over £2,500 for a national charity after completing a 5km doughnut dash, cycling over 60km from Clacton police station to our HQ in Chelmsford and holding a charity leg wax.
