Claire started with Kent Police as a Finance Assistant in 2002. She worked in Forensics and then moved to Support Services in 2014.

By 2019, she was the Interim Head of Procurement for Kent and Essex Police. She then joined HM Courts and Tribunals Service, managing services like finding interpreters and custody officers.

In July 2023, Claire came back to policing as the Director of Support Services for Essex and Kent Police. She now leads a team of over 700 people who support employees and volunteers do their jobs well.
