If you're not able to arrange a class trip to our museum, don't worry - we've got it covered.
We have a lots of resources which you can use in the classroom to support your students learning, or compliment your visit.
We ask that you do not reproduce any of our images or resources outside the classroom setting.
Like with our visits, the classroom-based activities are designed to tie in with the current national curriculum and encourage cross-curricular learning.
For £35, schools are able to borrow our 'activity boxes' for an entire half term. These boxes have a collection of activities and information for classes to explore.
We have three boxes available:
Contains replica and original police uniforms and equipment from 1840 through to modern day.
Contains original crime scene equipment such as atyvek suit, fingerprint equipment, magnifiers, torches and swabs.
Contains laminated photos and documents relating to the home front, policing and the Special Constabulary.
Whichever box you borrow the children will enjoying learning about different aspects of policing.
And we'll even drop and collect your chosen activity box to your school reception.
For more information, or to book your box, please contact us.
We have a range of online resources available for schools to use. We advise that teachers review the resources in the first instance to ensure they are suitable for their class.
