Essex Police aims to help people, keep people safe and catch criminals.

Main Effort

Our main effort will be to support victims, be visible to the public, take care of those who are vulnerable and deal with violence in all its forms.

How we work

The whole Essex Police family of staff, officers and volunteers will support each other acting fairly and respectfully whilst following our Code of Ethics and always promoting inclusivity, equality and diversity. We will work with all communities across Essex and our partners to build trust and confidence making sure we clarify our role and purpose at every stage. We will work efficiently and effectively to achieve our priorities. This includes ensuring our staff are developed, trained, skilled and equipped with the latest technology and best information to protect and serve the people of Essex.
