I started as a Special Constable in 2017, and as a training Police Constable in September 2019.
What did you do before the police?
Before joining the Police, I worked in the building trade as a roofing merchant. Why did you join Essex Police? It’s been a life long ambition since school to join Essex Police, and I finally decided to follow that ambition after assisting Police in a incident.
What do you hope to achieve at Essex Police in 2020?
To be pro-active and make a difference in my local community, giving the public a reassurance of Police presence in the area.

What have you enjoyed about your training?
All of it, I have been able to advance my knowledge of policing and learn new skills.
What’s been your most memorable moment?
During our interview training sessions, we observed other colleagues interviews, our trainer was the ‘suspect’ in an interview and was able to rip up the ‘evidence’ during the interview.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of becoming a Police officer?
Get your application in, the biggest hurdle to overcome is just sending it off but you will be glad you have once you do!
