Before joining the police I worked part time at Tesco in Southend as a sales assistant, just after I had finished my A-Levels.
Why did you join Essex Police?
I joined Essex Police as I wanted to give back to my community and join an ever-growing organisation which I think is vital for our county.
I want to help people and make my community safer for everyone to enjoy, as well as giving the public confidence in us. Essex is an extremely diverse place and so it will be great to work in this county.
Which area of the county are you going to be serving?
I will be serving in the South LPA at Southend station.
What have you enjoyed about your training?
It has been extremely enjoyable from learning the law to doing practicals to other elements such as drill marching and more. It is a course which has wide variety and gives you the knowledge you need when going out on shift. It has been great getting to know people in my intake as well as the trainers and all senior staff who keep it running smoothly.
What’s been your most memorable moment?
My most memorable moment was when my trainer and a friend in my class Niall did impressions of each other before the start of a lesson, it had the whole class in stitches.
