Able to identify the requirement for and gain RIPA authorisation as required.
Works with officers to plan operations requiring the use of ANPR.
Acts as Essex Police Representative at user group meetings at Regional and National level, providing feedback and influencing the use and policy relating to the use of ANPR.
Disseminates information and assists with shaping Force policy, practice and procedure. Undertakes system management of the database, including updating the database with information from sources including the DVLA and Genesis.
