Abnormal loads are not allowed to travel in Essex:
Abnormal loads are only allowed to travel during hours of darkness on these roads: M11, M25, A13 (Dual Carriageway), A12, A120, A127 (Not SBC area), A130 (A13-A12), A282, A1014, A1089, A1090 (Stonehouse Lane-A13), Stonehouse Lane (Purfleet), London Road (Stonehouse Lane-Dock entrance)
You must stick to the route you have notified us about.
No more than two loads are allowed to travel together.
Once you have notified us, you can move your load as long as:
Depending on the dimensions, speed and route of your load, you may need a police escort or you may need to provide your own escort vehicle.
