Read previous page and then follow this process for a Pensioner who has provided consent to Occupational Health.

Occupational Health forwards medical records to SMP where consent is given. In cases where there is evidence of terminal illness:

PPA advises pensioner of scope of review

SMP determines no material change. Degree of diablement remains the same based on paper review.  PPA advises pensioner of outcome re degree of impairment.

SMP provides PPA with medical appointment and advises PPA of degree of disablement.

PPA advises pensioner of degree of disablement and appeal rights to PMAB.

Pensioner appeals to PMAB or there is no appeal.
