It is alleged that PC Shaker failed over a sustained period to comply with lawful management instructions and attendance requirements, including failing to attend work, meetings and welfare appointments, and failing to update her identification. It is further alleged that she behaved in a rude, dismissive and obstructive manner towards colleagues and supervisors, including the use of abusive language. Additionally, it is alleged that during a meeting at Essex Police Headquarters on 15 March 2026, she acted in an aggressive and dangerous manner by throwing a body worn camera towards a colleague, causing concern for the safety of those present.
