Domestic Abuse Related Incidents and Crimes Suffered by Disabled Victims 2017 to 2021

Provided the number of recorded incidents per year where serious injury to a child in domestic circumstances and the age and gender of the injured child per year between 2015 and 2021.

Essex Police are unable to accurately extract arrest data and domestic abuse reports by nationality as there is no requirement to record nationality when crimes are input onto the Athena system. Similarly, the immigration status is not frequently recorded on our systems.

Provided the number of Stalking offences and Stalking Sanction detections with solved outcomes by Domestic Abuse and non-Domestic Abuse marker between 01 January 2020 to 01 January 2021 and 02 January 2021 to 31 January 2022.

Provided numbers of crimes with domestic abuse flag with breakdown by offence sub-group for 2019 to 2022. Also provided breakdowns by victim gender and ethnicity outcomes, the numbers of domestic abuse related murders and the breakdown of these by ethnicity and gender.

DASH Risk Assessments need to be completed with every Domestic Abuse incident. These are normally completed on mobile devices, however, Officers could still do them on a paper copy.

Actual Bodily Harm and Grievous Bodily Harm statistics for 01 January 2019 to 31 August 2021 whereby the victims were female and no suspect/perpetrator was recorded. Crimes flagged as Domestic Abuse have not been included in these statistics.
