Essex Police has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting rural communities and tackling hare coursing across the county
We’re using a distinctive on-loan police-liveried utility vehicle to encourage our rural communities to report crime and to raise awareness of crime prevention measures
Following Essex Chief Constable Ben-Julian Harrington’s promise to farmers, the first Essex Rural Independent Advisory Group has been set up
Thanks to the meticulous work of our Serious and Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) Johnny Smith, 20, Donny Archer, 27, and Nelson Buckland, 21, were convicted on Thursday 12 March following a trial at Chelmsford Crown Court.
Officers from our Rural Engagement Team work with neighbourhood teams to tackle heritage crime, highlight the impact of anti-social and encourage people to report their concerns to police
We are taking action to reduce violent crime by focusing on prevention, early intervention and visible policing.
