We are working to reduce anti-social behaviour.
Issued 30 June 2026
We are taking steps to reduce anti-social behaviour within key location across the district, as we understand how this can seriously affect quality of life.
We are therefore focusing our patrols within known hotspots using the latest intelligence.
This will include a variety of locations, including:
Roscommon Way, and surrounding roads in Canvey, also subject of a Public Space Protection Order.
South Benfleet shopping parade in Benfleet.
The Common green area and Thundersley Village in Thundersley.
The High Street, John Burrows Park, and the areas of Hadleigh castle, Hadleigh bike park, and the Salvation Army café farm in Hadleigh.
We will increase our visibility and will work to reduce matters and take enforcement where required. We will include our council partners to prevent issues from escalating and support victims and help resolve problems quickly.
This remains in our priority and is in progress.
