Confirmed that Essex Police follows Home Office guidance on medical cannabis and how to verify it's legitimate possession. Also confirmed that Essex Police does not have a policy on educating officers on the legality of medical cannabis and that there is not a policy on the recognition of unaccredited card schemes such as Cancard or MedCannID.
